Planet Djembe Christmas Party 2011

We had a fun time and made some good music.
Bruce had his new Balafon.
Scott got his new Tama drum to talk.
Tony Smith played his guitar amazingly.
Joe played bass and sang two Christmas songs.
Planet Djembe mixed West African Style with space shredding guitar by Tony Smith

3. Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree (3:06) Joe sings and plays bass with Tony on Guitar
4. Blue Christmas (4:23) Joe and Tony bring the Elvis classic up to date.
5. Santa Jam (6:46) Fusion of all ingredients available.
6. Soli Rapide (7:51) The Planet spins this one good.
7. Kuku (10:55) Great guitar and balafon with lively drumming make it a winner.
8. Lamba (20:34) Cavetta Green on Kenkeni and Laura Doll on Krin make this one special. Joe plays Sangban and Dununba. Scott is right there on the Djembe.
